"Damn, this year a good few artists we were able to invite don’t use the sound system or even set fire to it!" That’s the observation that we made at the end of the programming process. Subs sacrificed during the opening, an eardrum-killing bagpipe, a megaphone attached to the ceiling, a stupid grand piano, beams being hit or a concert for 80 hearing aids. Our domineering, exhausting and disproportionate dear sound system will no doubt hold out. But we like razor-sharp self-criticism (you’ll see!) and, above all, we like it when the statue of certainties and habits wavers on its pedestal.
This year's edition is dedicated to Gaël "Snake" Braillard.
