ROC JIMÉNEZ DE CISNEROS

Roc Jiménez de Cisneros and Stephen Sharp deform all sorts of techno artifacts, stretching them to their very breaking point. Their work has been published on labels such as Diagonal, iDEAL, Presto!?, Editions Mego, Entr’acte or their very own Alku. At LUFF 2020, Roc Jiménez de Cisneros will step up for a solo live performance: expect a barrage of flexing bass lines and asymmetric beats which apply metaphors about folding, bending and twisting, inspired by fractal geometry and quantum theory to some of their favourite cultural icons, from hardstyle arpeggios to the 80s house. They like to call it Acid Mereotopology.
