This is not a sound walk…like any other. Twice during this edition, 15 persons will be able to extend the concert evening with an ambulatory gig, outdoors in the Lausanne night. Using field recording techniques, Tim Shaw records acoustic sounds and electromagnetic waves as he walks along. He captures them, repeats them, mixes them with his own portable equipment. He improvises a set that intertwines past sound events with those that come along the way. Each group of people follows him, wearing wireless headphones, witnessing a strange live field recording performance.
