YVAN ETIENNE

Yvan Etienne has developed a work which takes shape as “things” made of sound. Designed like spaces, moments to experiment, his work is generally linked to certain contexts, climates induced by the specificity of sites and/or by invested materials. Made with electronic and acoustic instruments, his arrangements explore the processes and the states of sonar perception. As extension of his research, he co-directs the “Oh cet écho” series at Presses du Réel and teaches the sound practice and intermedia at HEAR.
