Fried Barry

Barry is a hopeless drug addict with no future, whose daily life has been brutally changed by an extraterrestrial abduction. Now as the vehicle of an adventurous invader, he embarks on a bewildering journey of sex, violence and drugs through the streets of Cape Town.
Ryan Kruger, a North-American citizen and professional actor, flew to South Africa and trained as a director before specializing in directing metal music videos. His inevitably rock’n’roll visual style brings all the particular and endearing energy and patina to this first feature film that offers a golden role to the spectacular interpreter of “Fried Barry”, namely Gary Green, whose face won’t be easily forgotten.
