INGA HULD HÁKONARDÓTTIR & YANN LEGUAY

Somewhere between music and visual performance, the work of Inga Huld Hákonardóttir & Yann Leguay is a journey through different materials – from voice to body through raw elements and materials – as an expressive entity with no inherent body. The elements meet in a sculptural and sound approach and become a guide to better understand the cycles and repetition. Inga Huld Hákonardóttir was born in Höfn, Iceland, and now lives in Brussels and works in performance as a player, a dancer and a choreographer. Yann Leguay focuses on the notion of dematerialization, on the use of interfaces and on everything that concerns the materiality of memory. His work includes a critical approach to the meaning of technological evolution.
