Body performer and harsh noise artist, Zerbinati is considered among the most extreme figures of the Italian scene. Her performances are the synthesis of butoh theater, dance studies, unsuccessful psychotherapies, horrible traumas and a fetishist approach to violent sound. Her work, which stars blood, pee, vomit and vaginal fluid of the artist, travels the world through a personal concept of “sacrifice”, and speaks without compromise and half measures of abortion, violence, paraphilias and the solitude of being different.
