GOLEM MECANIQUE

Golem Mecanique’s work focuses on humming and the confusion of sounds. Its ambition is to create a thick sound projection initiated by a long succession of instrumental and vocal frequencies. This project is anchored in a world both intimate and mystic, occult and contemplative, trying to reach a sound confusion, somewhere between drone and voices through a musical polymorphism created by the different humming devices: his own vocal cords, a range of sound manipulations and a motorized hurdy-gurdy. Recently, a trilogy around a re-invented antic world has been at the heart of the live performances. His last album, “Nona, Decima & Morta”, came out at the beginning of the year on the labels Ideologic Organ and Editions Mego.
